Borough Council appoints Michael Sullivan solicitor

PA NEW BERLIN — New Berlin Borough Council unanimously appoints Michael Sullivan, Esquire, as new solicitor. The council approved the appointment following executive session interviews with two candidates. In other business, council unanimously authorized a $20,000 change order for the Walnut Street Bridge project to repair deficiencies in a 2019 High Street pipe installation, and unanimously approved the sale of two newspaper recycling trailers on Municibid with $300 reserves each.
The council also unanimously approved payment of bills totaling $15,917.49, with Secretary/Treasurer Rebecca Witmer reporting a General Fund balance of $53,351.09.
