PA NEW BERLIN — New Berlin Borough Council unanimously appointed Michael Sullivan, Esquire, as Solicitor following interviews with two attorney candidates. The council approved sale of two newspaper recycling trailers with $300 reserves each, authorized a change order for Walnut Street Bridge Project repairs to address 2019 pipe-work defects, and approved bills totaling $15,917.49. General fund balance stands at $53,351.09, and a December 2025 liquid fuels audit returned no negative findings.
Council members raised concerns about meeting accessibility and document availability for non-attendees; the borough must achieve ADA website compliance by April 2027.
